Derivi Castellanos Architects (DCA) was established in 1979 by Steve Castellanos and Linda Derivi in Stockton, California. Since then, DCA has completed hundreds of projects in a variety of market sectors across California. During our entire history, the firm has enjoyed an enviable reputation for responsiveness to client needs, teamwork, high-quality design solutions, and above all excellent customer service.

The average tenure of our architectural and support team is 15+ years, allowing us to assign seasoned professionals to every project. In addition, Steve Castellanos served as State Architect, leading the Division of State Architect (DSA) from 2000-2005, where he developed many key relationships that continue to benefit our clients. Our Managing Partner, Juan G. Barroso, brings extensive Design/Build experience and cost management expertise in a variety of commercial project types to expand our service offering to clients.

Our primary geographic regions are California?s Central Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area and the Central Coast.
